have a lovely scratch on the windscreen of the mini, as a result of the passenger wiper coming off on a wet 2 hour drive, mean the arm left a nice arched scratch in front of the passenger,

is this likely to fail ?

Wouldn't have thought so. If it was drivers side it would be a problem but should be ok if its passenger and only a scratch

those numbers I had on the top left pass side of my corsa window were a fail item, and that was even more out of view than your scratch, pop along to the guy and ask? - go multiple places and get a few responses on your journeys
