what we thinkin? if its as small, light and compact as an ipad with full desk/laptop functionality, while still lasting as long on a charge and loading up as quick (instantly) i could be tempted to trade in the ipad for one.
however, i bet its not. hopefully apple will follow up with an osx ipad

As you can see from the lack of replies, nobody is interested
Completely depends on price.
I have a lot of use for a lightweight tablet with a proper OS on it.

at the comments on that page. They're saying that because it's made of magnesium it'll be flammable - someone didn't pay attention to the alloys part of their chemistry lessons.

most peoples only memory of it is probably burning those thin strips at school. as it happens i got suspended once for stealing some and burning a hole in a table with it in my form room

I took my stolen strips home to burn them, no suspension for me

Laptop I'm typing this on has a magnesium chassis, same as most dell latitudes, hasn't went on fire yet.

could have got away with it if i hadnt been seen through a window by a teacher lighting it, with a lynx flamethrower at head height...

I'm not too sure about that happening, if you look at the most recent version of osx it's very ios like, it's almost like they want to combine the two
