I know Ben, I agree with you on that but I'm sure it's been used to get out of it before. Maybe the law changed with all the floods a few years back?

We got crazy rain in Lancashire, like 2 minutes for the roads to be flooded from when it started raining.

Never seen anything like it! Driving in it was awful...

Reminds me of the floods and stuff we had 4 years ago down this way.

Would hardly call it a tropical storm though as per thread title.

Is it just me though, or was the flooding down South a couple of weeks back (specifically the coast) was just as bad but caused less chaos? Obviously we didn't get the hail though.
