It'll still have a final value, 10% is about the norm now.

I sold an MX5 hardtop back in February and the chap paid £240 but his max bid was £15 before I ended the auction early. Result!
But yeah the fees are a piss take.

You still have fees of what it sells for regardless of the starting price if you start it at 99p you just don't have a LISTING fee to pay but at end of every month you have a total SELLING fee witch is about 10% of your months sales

Don't use it if you don't like it. Harrods is expensive, so I don't shop there.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

yep, damn them for having the ingenuity for taking advantage of other people wanting to sell stuff

it is shockingly bad tbh but you get so much exposure on there, most stuff is guaranteed to sell.

sold loads of puma bits on there. i'd rather have some money for parts rather than nothing.

I just sold a Clio sport as spares or repairs and it went for £1120. My charges are only showing as £34ish, does this sound correct? I was expecting more. Sorry to hi jack but it's the first thing I have sold on eBay

It's only 10% up to a certain amount, the fee's are capped at some point.
