We have a cycle to work scheme just introduced at work; although i work from home 99% of the time i thought i may aswell treat myself and save some tax! Its with halfords so can basically have anything from there site and it gets taken out of my wages for the next 12 months tax free.

I have always fancied getting into a bit of cycling so thought I have nothing to loose; but have no idea also!!

So some advice would be good; Halfords Bikes

Thanks

...And you can use MTBR to look up reviews on different bikes/components to help you make your choice:

Our cycle to work scheme is through Halfords but they can source any bike even if Halfords don't sell it in their stores!

Sports day- bike day, a lot of info in there. I would happily get a boardman but take it to a bike shop to be double checked tbh. If you can i would buy from Evans.

The boardmans aren't bad to be honest, good specs for the price as well. I've seen a few people riding them when I've been out on my spesh.
