Ordered some bits from US.

This was nigh on a month ago, arrived in the UK 13/06/2012, has been with customs ever since.
If I put my tracking number in it says:

Payment of charges - Item being held, addressee being notified

I have yet to get a letter and USPS arent interested.

WTF do i do?! Does it just take this long?

Usually i just get a letter from Royal Mail or whoever saying my package is at their depo and i need to come pay for the charges.

Ring parcelforce as USPS stuff goes to them

Then you can pay over phone and they'll send it on

I only have a USPS ref number though not a Parcelforce one. Input that into the parcelforce site and it didnt like it.

Ring them instead. That coupled with your name and address should locate it

The USPS number works on the parcel force tracking system.
Last parcel I got spent over a week in customs

Spoke to a guy who said customs have just been sitting on it and not completed their end so they cant charge me. So hes going to hassle them to complete ASAP.

Got to give it 24hrs and ring back.

Update. lady rang up from the lilt advert and told me my parcel was just about to be returned to the sender

£24 delivering tommow woooop
