Ian - Do you still own this plate?
I just checked it on DVLA and even though its on a 2 litre car with 228g/km the tax is a whopping £445 a year!?
Mine knocks out 230g/km and its only £260 a year and is 3 litre....

The tax is so much because its a post 2006 model (not sure which month is the cut off).
Anything built after that date with over 225g/km co2 pays tue higher rate of tax.
my focus was 2008 with 224 g/km co2 so just scraped through.

Only because my mate had one for the day and I had a spare number plate. Be a while before I can put my name to one of those.
