what would cause the centre console and radio to stay on when the key is removed? ive just replaced both interior looms and this is the only fault left, i did have problems with ignitions switch........ could this be the cause?

Does the centre bit in the ignition barrel pop out when you remove the key? Mine sometimes stays in, so i just give it a bit of a bash with my finger tip and it pops out again

Yeah that bit seems fine its the back bit.i have my suspicions about as it fell apart on me.
