Yes or an auto centre punch.
I mentioned it awhile back and also hinted in a few other threads. People aren't arsed until it affects them or someone they know. Same with almost 99% of people on here that have UPVC front, rear or patio doors and have them secured with a 25p cylinders made in the far east. or bikes secured with piss poor chains cut in about 8 seconds with rusty scissors. Most people don't give a feck about security in general and if they do, don't research it enough. Having been on car and bike forums for over 16 years, you pick up a fair amount of info

I understand how you can break it, tempered glass has a habit (by design) of granulating though, so the whole window would go.
What I mean is how do you break it ONLY in a small area?

For some reason I think it's a load of shite. You need security code for car and there is no access to ecu . You can get keys fully programmed from BMW. All as it takes is one dodgy lad on sales counter and he could order keys to walk up and do it. These cartridge keys are shite

I got that bit but what's that to do with my comment? More chance of that than this so called super programmer that they are trying to sell for £1500 , it will be for marketing purposes

Cars get stolen all time . Bmws get stolen as even aftermarket bits are a fortune. I am sure BMW would have done a software update by now if this was case
