He doesn't sound like the sharpest tool in the box.

Tbf it's all a joke. I hate people who claim like that. I've never crashed but the woman my mum hit in my old car claimed 7k on personal injuries! Although when boasting to her own mum about it, she didn't realise her mum was MY mums friend : lol: idiot!

But if you're going for it, do a good job.
Woman at my work has currently been off for 7 weeks. She crashed on her way home, I saw a pic of her car, headlight was smashed, nothing massive tbf.
She's taken professional advice and apparently got whiplash - hurt both her wrists, shoulders, neck, back. She can't come to work because we have air con and this needs to be turned off otherwise it will damage her back !?
However, she couldn't come to work anyway because she has no car and she can't go in movIng vehicles because since the accident she now suffers panic attacks when in a moving vehicle.
Oh and all of the previous has made her depressed.
she's having a good go I'll give her that!

are you a car crash investigator by any chance? mine was relatively small crash (she probably hit me at about 20mph while i was stationery. i was holding onto the steering wheel at the time and had no idea she was going to hit me. my wrist was agony for ages and everytime i came to a stop on a dual carriageway, i started being very panicy.

you can't judge people until you've been in that situation yourself.

not that claiming any amount of money will remove the accident from your memory, but the 10 sessions of physio i had which were 12 miles away everytime + my time off work needed to be reimbursed, as did my prescription costs and petrol.

Accidents and injuries are part of life tbh, play football someone goes into an OTT tackle and you get injured, ok you may have to hobble about for a week, or even longer, but you just accept its happened, its an accident etc you dont start sueing the guy who did it.

I agree if you are injured though and its costing money out your pocket for treatment then you should be reimbursed for that

My bro's GF had a crash and you would think her leg had come off with the amount of hospital visits and physio stuff she had to do.

you would think injury claims would be decreasing, seeing as cars are meant to be much more protective these days.
