hi
im a newbie to corsa sport, first post

ive had a few corsas and a lot of vauxhalls, ive got my first redtop corsa b. i have to say im impressed. lives up to expectations and more.

what im looking to find out is does a f16 gearbox make any difference to acceleration when fitted to c20xe?

I thought f16 gave you more acceleration but less top end, I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong

There are a few different F16s and F20s depending what they were fitted to.

If you find one that is shorter than you current box then yeah, it should accelerate better.

No, same ratio's as a 2wd F20.

F18 Box is also good on an XE.

im not to sure what car my redtop came out of. how do i find out my ratio should there be a code on it somewhere?

They're sometimes marked but not always, if your box is WR (wide ratio) then you should find a CR (close ratio).
