trying to remember the 0-60 and 0-100 for the Impreza...
It was 0-100 in 8 something but the corsa would be ripping it a new arsehole above that... vice versa off the line.
0-60 was a low 3 from memory

thats not really that quick that adam, considering I'm quicker to 100 and thats a fwd with a fair mass of wheelspin as well.

aye, my gearing is great for sprints but a bit ghey for top speed or long straights like Snetterton.
I'm having to pop it in 5th when banging the limiter in 4th (8400rpm and 108mph). 5th is MUCH longer than 1,2,3,4 and takes me to 150odd. I can fit a 6 speed with similar ratios to my current 1-5 and extra 6th but it weighs about 30kg more and would involve diff swaps too.
0-60 needs 3rd gear too

nope, not that quick but not exactly slow for a 1200kg 400bhp Impreza - race start through traffic (cars on grid). Not a patient build up type launch
Did something like a 4.1 to 60 in the wet (snow falling) too in the next race match that with your FWD.

don't need to, as 0-60 is kids stuff, or for people with really slow cars.

riiiight..... miserable defeatest Nic returns
I would have though 0-60 was pretty damn important to your 1/4mile 'kids stuff'
or are you saying its hard to get a true reflection of a 0-60 in your car as its got too much power / not enough grip to give a true indication at those low speeds?
I agree with what I think you might be saying.... something like the MLR 30-130 gives a very good indication of a cars performance.

Quite like that Puma, needs some proper tyres on it now. And throttle bodies and a 9k rev limit

i made a video chris its further down in general chat. thats to about 160mph from around 70-75mph, road tyres hence the spin to 120 ish. thats my acceleration, not on full 2bar that, about 1.6.
0-100 in 7.91 the way i can drive the car to work
