Well today I decided to de-badge/sticker the B

Got a bit carried away and decided I'd get the mop out and give it a going over

Enjoy...

Next on the list is to hear gun the plastic trim back to colour then finish my wheel refurb, lower it and fit new wheels

Just how exactly does one 'moped' a car?

Sorry mop was probably the wrong term for those that are 'detailing geeks'

First stage was Fastcut Plus followed by some Ultrafina SE, followed by Finesse and some Rose on the glass. Tbh it needs some wax but I'll leave that for tomorrow as I'm pretty worn out and suprisingly sun burnt!

The paint work is probably some of the worst I've had to work on, scratches on every panel but it's come up better than expected (didn't bother to much with the bonnet or front bumper as they need replacing soon anyway

May have to excuse any spelling as I'm on my phone

Just to warn you that after a few washes you'll find hologrammes...

You can't go straight from FCP to UF without an intermediate polish unfortunately. Hence why with 3M they have the 3 stage system. If you mix and match you just need a 'middle' polish / pad combo.

Looks to be a big improvement though from what you've said!

Yeah I thought it might do that. If I'm honest I'm not all that fussed, just needed something as it was so dull an horrible to look at. Looked like it hadn't seen a glimpse of polish in its whole life. So yeah huge improvent

What I'll probably do when money allows is get it wrapped or even a re-spray but got other things to sort first

Also either use a heat gun on the arches and the bumper Trim or get down 99p store and get some black paint
