Motherfucking Clio's...

been popping out of gear for the past two weeks, but getting worse, so i have already ordered a back mount as that is a known problem.

Driving home from work yesterday and it popped out of 3rd and 2nd, anything over 2.5k revs it popped out. Managed to swing it in into a car park where it eventually died. When pushing it went from really easy to really hard, like almost it was rubbing onto something, but no bangs or grinding!

Got the car delivered back to my house today, any tell tale signs that i can check tonight to help diagnose?

Going to bang it into the garage on some axle stands tonight...


Anyone with Renault experience give me a shout!

Just heard the same from a renault tech.

What a pain in the arse!

Posted this in regionals too wondering if can help out.

It will be in a garage on axle stands, just ordering parts now!

What are you after mate? Have a 2002 cliosport 172 cup for breaking at the moment

The gearbox is different i think buddy, along with the clutch etc.

I have the jb1 box atm

Cheers! Wouldn't mind the headlights but i think i'll put that to the bottom of the pile for the moment
