Just recently, loads of websites keep trying to give me information about cookies. It's frigging annoying. Is it some stupid thing Chrome has implemented on an invisible update or something?

A new law was passed meaning that sites using cookies to track you need to display that message/option. Two problems, they didn't really define 'track' too well and the average internet user doesn't know what a cookie is or need to know what the do.
