Yes I know this is a corsa forum but the golf ones shit and there might be a few people who know about VAG's here?


Couple of things. I just went to put fuel in my car as the red light was on. Went to put my foot down and nothing, there is no power whatsoever. The car is a 1.9 GT TDI. There is no warning lights on the dash.
What could be wrong? It sounds fine but is effortless through the gear range!!

Also, I just went to lock the car and it wont! I was unsure as to whether the batteries had gone in the fob, so I went to lock it by putting the key in the door, and it wont lock! The lights flash as if it has been locked but the locks stay open!!

The locking system is linked to a unit behind the drivers door card that contols the window and mirrors too. Do they work?

Right drove the car this morning to work and it sounded horrendous. Sounds like tr exhaust is blowing. Would this cause power loss? Sounds really bad

central locing could be a dicky motor in one of the doors. really common on them
