About a guy in Ohio that had 48 exotic and wild animals including tigers, lions and bears. He released the lot before killing himself. Only 6 survived. Crazy

absolutely disgusting, the way the police treated the animals.

i understand they were in a bit of a situation where peoples lives were at risk but they should've handled it so much better.

dragging the animals with a tractor, fucking disgraceful.

American police are just thick. I watched a program about a guy who wasn't accepted into the force because his IQ was too high.

They tried to tranq a tiger and it went mental and ran at them.

They reckon the tigers are proper hard bastards out of all they had to shoot.

UK police would do the same, the threat to humans is far greater than the death of an animal.
The law actually states similar when you are driving and an animal runs in front of you. If another car is behind, you are suppose to drive through the animal rather than suddenly slam on causing potential harm to the human behind you.

In regards to a Taser being used - would you go up close to an animal with a potential weapon that could fail, will only stun and stop the animal momentarily? with no training in how wild dangerous animals act? I know I certainly wouldn't because when that fucker gets back up and you are reloading a charge - you are his new rag-toy!

I bet the law actually says you should be driving to the conditions and if there's a possibility of an animal jumping out, you should be driving at a speed to allow adequate braking time.

Does the law about endangered animals not apply in an instance like this?

They said the tigers killed that day (18) was 1% of indias population of tigers. Mental.

I wouldn't have thought so if human life was at risk, even though it was the guys insane plan that would have put them their in the first place.

But they shot them when they were still inside his compound, therefore weren't endangering any human lives at all.

I agree and disagree with what they did. Their arms were tied basically.
