Thought I would sharemy new purchase I made this morning it's a 2009 with 21k and I pick it up Monday morning.
I wanted to take it away straight away but needs MOT

Is there anything that's prone for going wrong on these?

Yeah I know lol it's got 2 years extended warranty though so not too worried just didn't meant further down the road what could go wrong.

Gearboxes are a weakness and shit themselves a lot. £2k main dealer fix if outside warranty. Starts with crunching gears

Not myth, mate of mines got done, he is Paul from RStunings brother, and his dad owns RS Murrays, said they've done a lot. He got his done 1 week before warranty run out!

It's apparently only the early ones that fail they revised the gearbox with shorter first and second and longer 6th gear
