Wanting to buy a Boardman bike, they're £650 and there was a 10% code 3 days ago. I waited till today, payday and its no longer active and I now begrudge paying full whack.

Heard employees get 15% happy to throw the 5% your way.

Typical.

Guess I'll just have to wait for them to go in the sale, trouble is it costs me £20 each weekend to hire one whilst I haven't got one.

Our cycle to work scheme only opened for a window in June and tbh the savings were minimal.

Hopefully he'll see this thread.

I can ride an 18in no problem, doesn't mean it's the right size. The seat had to be pretty low which puts all your weight over the back which is not ideal and would cause back ache. A smaller frame with higher seat is more appropriate, there is no set size/height ratio but I'm 5ft 4in and 16in frames are for the 5ft 4 - 5ft 6 height bracket.

I wouldn't say 5ft 8 is short, infact it's the male Uk average height

Leeds/Scunthorpe is a 200 mile found trip from Stoke, about £30 in fuel and would save £65 quid. I'll have a think about it if that's ok mate.
