Sure you're not thinking of the washer bottle in the arch lining

no sorry my bad wording i mean the coolant expansion tank the round one right in front of your eyes when you open the bonnet haha
just wanted ideas on what smaller tanks i can use so i can relocate it , seen people have put it near the passenger headlight..
hope that has worded it better

Needs to be the highest point in the coolant system? Not sure of the side-effects of moving lower.

mine is above passenger side inner arch. been no problems and has been there for about 4 years now. only thing had to change was the pipe at the bottom of the tank, instead of pointing downwards like standard tank, it points out on an angle.

like so. had to re-weld the brackets on to the header tank as well.

I've wanted to use a saxo radiator kind of thing where it's built in but not seen it done.
Under the scuttle could probably be done if you are willing to work out where to put the washer bottle

As Darryl said, in the scuttle. I'm gonna use a Corsa c one so it's a tad smaller

just had a butchers yes under the scuttle could be done its just routing the pipes back to the rad and cooling system..
just the rubber hose going to the radiator would need to go in between the strut top and battery.. i will look into this a bit more..

Run them into the wings. And the inlet one and head one go inside the car then through the bulk head.
That's what I'm gonna try anyways lol
