Used this site when I went up to do the Evo Triangle, a couple of the others it suggested and some I found on another site somewhere were far better than the Triangle itself!

The road up at killin is an awesome road, I drive it a few times a week. Loads of twisties with Long straights in between, very nice scenic place too.

Done a few of the roads on there but I've found much better that aren't on there, Honister Pass for example, far superior to the Evo Triangle.

That would add about 60 miles and about an hour and 40 onto my already 10 hour Dundee run on Thursday, worth considering if the day goes well or best left for another time when I'm not already on a 12-13 hour day? Forgot to mention, I'll be in a Merc Sprinter luton van

On the way to Dundee come off at kelty and head for knockhill and take the back roads to Dundee, some great wee roads up there also. May add a few hours to your trip though more than welcome to stop off for at brew at mine on the way back, I'm just off the motorway

Applecross is where it's at
Vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84ykFBaoMEo&feature=related
It's not a great vid, doesnt give a good perspective of it.
I do the road once every couple of months,
The pistonheads group are up regular, and topgear have used it several times and named it in the top 10 greatest roads

I was surprised at that too, the furthest north I've been was part way up loch lomand and I've drove loads of Scottish roads that put the evo triangle and woodhead pass to shame so I can only imagine there's plenty more further north.
Applecross looks amazing
Seany I'll see how it goes, if the job goes as well as it could do then I'll probably be well up for taking a bit longer on some better roads to get home. If it doesn't go so well I'll either want to just get home, or have a brew then get home so we'll see how it unfolds

Used that site for a couple of roads.
Did the Ribblehead Run when I was that way before, was hella wet though and puddles crossed whole parts of the carriageway. Wasn't fun! Great views though, seemed very out of the way lonely.
