I think thats a fair price for correction

I spent 5 hours polishing mine the other day, and although it looks as shiney as that, I know that there are a few paint defects which only a professional job would get out

Looks awesome. Wish I had a detialer near me for crying out loud. Price, it's what you pay for at the end of the day, imo bit high BUT look at the finish/work that's gone into that.

As I said back in 2009 when I made the thread, the car had just been repaired in a bodyshop and given back to me swirled allover. I had also got compo for whiplash (genuine), some of which I used to pay for the detail/correction. I wouldn't normally have been spanking £500 on a detail otherwise.

Also, I knew that once fully corrected, I could keep the paint swirl free etc myself, and it was just as good as the pics when I sold it a year later.
