recently whenever i open a new session in IE it always opens a 2nd tab and trys to go to 'some.url' which doesnt exist, only happened since i last updated dvdsoft youtube>mp3 convertor, have tried to unistall it and it doesnt remove it fully from the pc, it still appears in the progams list.

any ideas on a) how to stop the tab opening up and b) to fully remove the program

In the Internet Settings (IE 8 press alt, tools, settings, IE9 it's the cog under the top right X), on the homepages bit remove the second line

In Internet Options there should be (near the bottom) an option that says Tabs. Click settings then untick any that's not needed. ?

This is how mine is setup:

tbh Chrome aint that much better. When I've switched my laptop on, and i click on the Chrome logo, my homepage is Google, and it doesn't load up, so I have to close it down, and open it back up again.
