I finished with all skills on 100 with the exception of melee on 55 and unarmed on 35.
Not sure if it would have been poss to get100 on all, maybe?

Just completed You'll Know It when It Happens and prevented an assasination attempt on the president. For The Republic Part 2 concludes here and Eureka! starts.
I have so much left to do, Cass's quest, Black Mountain and a couple of BoS quests. I'm level 22 now and think I'll do as much as I can before attempting the end quest.
Halfway through Beyond The Beef but sneak isn't high enough to take a weapon in.
Draining me now

I have never come accross any of the issues you have posted through out the thread life 
Maybe it is because I do a lot of side quests and random rampages and thus have always levelled up quickly

There is a lot of hidden quests if you do things a certain way, random rampages are fun but probably destroys a lot of quest lines that might give more rare items or locations.
I found NV you get too much xp, it's too easy to level up and before you know it your max level and feels like you only just started.

Not those kind of rampages, I am talking random engagements with non essential NPC's.
I know all to well when you blow someone away and you up flashes the '****** quest failed' from Fallout 3
By the time I had got to level 50 it was taking 4-5 shots of the .50 cal at point blank range to kill people with guns skill on 100.
It's shit like that, that ruins the game. with lesser weapons i would literally have to unload about 3-4 clips on one unarmoured person, fucking ridiculous

I have a level 18 game save which is fine going down the Yes Man route but decided I wanted NCR so started again. Got ambushed by Cazcadors on the second play through and was my only save, so started a third time.
Focused my levelling up on speech so other skills have been lacking.
Should have finished by now!

Speech does seem to be overly important for FO:NV.
My previous spec was guns, was pretty much 1/2 shots kills with the .50 cal anti material rifle, found it boring really as it become so easy, death claws with 1 shot to the head so did explosives as my new game but there isn't many weapons for it apart from grenades, rocket launcher, grenade rifle variants and some mines, don't know if I can be bothered to try a energy weapon spec.
They do say you have to choose wisely with the perks, maybe you buggered it up SetH

Not played again for a few months
Level 25, did Cass's side quest, did ED-E's quest and gave data to BoS and got his armour updated, wiped out the Legion at Cotton Cove, completed Beyond the Beef without killing anyone, drugged the wine and ended up idolised by both the White Glove Society and The Strip.
AND I recruited the Enclave to join with NCR/BoS at the final battle. 
Think I might just do the final battle now and leave it at that

Probably. Next Xbox will probably be out sometime in 2014 and I can't see the game coming out next year when they've only started research for it recently.

Its looking like next gen consoles will release next year, especially with some games being developed for them now. Im guessing both for Xmas next year.
