Wanting to replace the bulbs behind my Centre console/dials Took it apart and only found 2 of these O_O

Should there be more? if so where, and whats the model bulb so i can get them in blue? Much appreciated

whats it out of? puma has strange dash bulbs like that, looks like a 501 but is slightly smaller

It's not a 501.

It's a 286 if behind the centre console. Sidelights are 501 and are larger.

Its from behind the Centre console where the heater controlls were. so 286? And does anyone know if theres more hiding away? i imagined there would have been one behind every control lol

Depending on what year your car is there will only be 2 or 3.

And yes, 100% 286.

Should be obvious if it's two or three anyway as they all slot into the same little holder bit. Pretty sure your's will have two.

Best off getting SMD instead of LED.

From experience the LEDs just aren't bright enough and create a very uneven light pattern. SMDs are far brighter and well worth the extra money in my opinion.

Would he not be better getting some surface mount LED's? If he just goes buying random SMD's he could have anything.

Ive bought a pack of 5 Blue 286 LED's and also just got a pack of 5 Blue SMD flat ended ones. Il post some pics on my project thread when they arrive and compare the difference

Instead of buying both you should have just asked for pics comparing the difference. I've used both and SMDs are better by a country mile lol.
