I'm getting to play a lot more these days and I'm looking to get a couple of new clubs. I'm looking for a rescue 5W and a new putter and wondered if anyone would be able to suggest anything. The only preferences I have are for the rescue wood to be graphite/ flex shaft and for the putter to be quite light.
I'm going to go to the golf shop down the road and see what feels good then probably buy off the internet, thought I'd see if anyone could suggest anything to try

Don't really know what's good anymore but be careful as there is a load of fakes on the web even from reputable shops, a few friends have been caught out before although its always been sorted quickly.
Can you not trade old clubs in also at American golf? Sure you used to be able to.

i try to play golf, took it back up last year and got my self rigged out with new clubs at the start of the year,
as for for rescue check out cleveland mashie, i have a hybrid but you can get a mashie in rescue wood format aswell as hybrid if you prefer the look of a wood head rather than rescue wood
putter im again using a cleveland vp2 putter i had this when i played few years back and never really seen the need for new one, if i were to change prob go for oddessy one as used my mates a few times and has a nice feel to it
check out clubhousegolf.co.uk
they have some pretty good deals and are rather cheap compared to american golf etc

Cheers for the suggestions, went out on Saturday morning there amd got what I needed. I went for a Mizuno MP-CLK 23 degree hybrid: http://thesandtrap.com/b/clubs/mizuno_mp-clk_hybrid_review . Also got an Odyssey White Ice Mallet 330 http://www.odysseygolf.com/global/en-gb/products/putters/white-ice/white-ice-330-mallet-putter.html
I went for a round after I got them at the local 9 hole course. It was dead windy so I didn't really have a chance to get a good feel for them yet - the Mizuno's quite difficult to hit sweetly off the deck but a screamer off the tee. The putter's got great balance but is a lot more weighty than I'm used to so I was a bit off with it yesterday, think it's going to take a bit of getting used to. It's got a great feel to it though so I'll persevere and hopefully get used to it. Would definetely recommend either club to anyone.
