a mates got a set of steel rods cheaper than that iirc, but his where ran dry up pod's strip and have heat (blue/purple) marks on them due to bursting an oil line on his dry sump XE
could still be fine

Irc longer than normal rods also?
Thought he said they checked out ok and he reused them on his thread?
Also eBay add is for pistons and rods?

gareth c, aye. not 100% sure if he's sold them now or not. he went for new i think. i seen the rod bearing when we took them out, they where flat but the rods seemed spot on apart from heat marks. steve checked them out i think
hes got it running now. pulls like fuck haha
