I don't know much about TV's in general but looking at a new one as I want something a bit bigger. I've not looked at TV's for ages and can't believe the price of them
I want a 32" but are smart tv's worth are the bit extra?

good price that
go through quidco etc and get more money off (let me know, ill send u details)
We use our TV alot on the internet now.....have netflix on it and its superb
I would DEFO buy a smart TV. I know you can get little boxes to attach to existing TVS to turn them into smart tvs etc but for £399 thats smart!
Also look at Samsungs as well

I just bought this one and I'm really pleased with it:

Needed to buy a wi-fi dongle but it was only £20. So now I can use iPlayer, Netflix etc. Plus Samsung have their own movie rental service.
The features available through a Smart TV are only going to keep improving, so I would say it's worth it.

Always had Samsung TV's at home but a lot people say the LG's are better. I can't imagine there is a big difference if any.

I've had a smart tv for around 18 months now, its a novelty at first, i've probably used iPlayer on it more than I ever would on a pc though.
Model is Sony KDL-40EX703 - Probably quite cheap now, I picked one up for about £600 off eBay.

My parents are looking at buying the 40" version, did you get it from RS? where did you buy the dongle? cheapest I've seen is £25 from Amazon

Did you buy a Samsung dongle or just another brand?
