or an m3 either unfortunately. Decided to wait a couple of years and then i shall scratch that particular itch.
What i have though is a silver BMW E60 525d m sport touring
I love it, have only driven it once as it isnt taxed but it has a lot of poke as standard. very spacious inside. Went for half leather and manual as i wanted full leathers and mrs didnt want any at all. silly woman.
I'm definately going to be getting it mapped and i also want a set of the 19" spider wheels that came on the newer sports as they fill the arches a little better. Also, changing the wood for silver trim. Other than that, no real plans apart from enjoying it.
Will get some pics up today once i have given it a clean

Going to sound really silly here, but I'm no BMW nut. So what is the difference between M sport & ///M3?

An M3 is a coupe made by BMW and M Sport is a trim level you can get on BMWs.

mine is a 5 series estate. M sport comes with m style bodykit, better suspension, black headlining and interior trims, sport steering wheel and more supportive seats
shitty iphone pics but you get the idea. Have found a set of spider wheels on ebay so might have a cheeky bid on those, also found a guy who has real carbon fibre trims for sale although they are over $1000

Love E60's.
My mate had wood trim in his 330, took it out and painted it Matt silver, made a world of difference.

Looks lovely.
Re: the wood don't paint it, worth good money. Buy some low spec plastic dash parts from a breaker or eBay and spray those then sell the wood. Worth a fair bit

Such a fantastic looking car and just unbelievably comfy. I've driven one for 6 hours straight and it just felt like a 2 hour drive in most other cars.
Great buy!

Which LED plate bulbs did you go for? I had seen some bulit into OEM bulb holders but somebody then put me off and said to reconsider and where did you get carbon badges?

Toby, i was looking at getting the complete unit but at £25, there were better things i could buy.
i got these in the end for £4.99. fitted them today so will see how good they are tonight when it gets dark

Those badges dont fit mine.
Also be weary of those bulbs, they will be throwing up bulb errors without the resistors being bulit in (cant see them). Nornally the 'error free' for canbus cars are about £11 but can be cheap and ugly hence looking at the ones bulit into the OEM bulb holders
edit: talking shite, just seen CANbus in the tittle, they are cheap though. post some pics
