You can use the built in mail app or if you have a blackberry using bridge it works exactly the same as on a blackberry

Native email app - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZoEg1ibI6U
It's pretty good, would say it's on par with the iPad.

I know it runs wifi, Is there any way to make it run 3G? Can I plug my blackberry into it and use it as a tether connection?

Yup if your BB supports DUN; the option is in the settings but do a Google for proper instructions.

iPhone can act as a WiFi hotspot to tether internet connection, so no need for a third device.

Hmmm, quite tempted. G/F wants an iPad, and was hoping I'd buy one that she could 'borrow' but I know I'd never see it again!
Getting an iPhone come renewal time to sack off my BB Torch, and my netbook is quite dated now for portable internets so this is quite tempting!
