Saw it today. Very good, some bits are a bit predictable, some a bit unrealistic, the same as the first.
Was only ruined by a load of twats in the cinema, including someone with a laser pen and one that decided it was a good place to beg

Radio 1 only gave it 2 stars today.
I might not go to the Cinema, I might wait till the DVD comes out, Taken 1 was by far my best film of the year when it came out, dont want to ruin this.

I liked it, it was very similar to the first but I dont think thats a bad thing as the first one was awesome 
Liam Neeson is a fucking cool guy

To be honest it really is an average run of the mill churn out a sequel due to the success of the first film.
There is nothing bad about it but nothing that stands out either. Fairly basic plot and Liam Neeson doing his usual of shooting and hand chopping/neck breaking Albianians to rescue his daughter and wife.
the first film was much more engaging as I found it unpredictable and it was quite a dark film and bad ass in places. This one is more family friendly combat and he ploughs through many Albanians Jason Bourne style. You don't go on the same journey as the 1st one in which he was administering punishment for kidnapping his Daughter. The sequel just feels like he is just ploughing through bad guys and I actually started to feel sorry for the Albanians as they were being slaughtered for literally just grabbing his wife and tying her up 
Overall an average action film with a solid but by the numbers performance from Liam Neeson. Defo one for download.

There is a certain film coming out directed and starring ben affleck with a beard. I nearly burst out laughing in the cinema when I saw the trailer, Jambo will be wanking over this.
