Got a c20let corsa and it appears to have pulled the rear gearbox mount clean out the box.
Top bolt threads are ok
middle threads are f**ked
F28 box by the way.
Any ideas on how to sort or get this sorted?
Nic, did you have a similar problem?

If not you can change half the casing over to a different one

Weld it, re-drill it. I've had the gaps plated up in mine.
Are you using a 2 bolt mount or a 3? It's much stronger on a 3 bolt.

Weld that to mount so it attaches to 3 bolt holes on the gearbox. Do you have a lot of play in your rubber mounts out of interest?

Just had this problem with mine but with a F20, haven't got a picture of the bent rear mount but heres what was left of the bolts
Mine broke the mount so my mate made this for me also used loads of thread lock and longer bolts been sweet since

that wil have been where you cut the lip off so it fits against the box yeah? i had the same happen years ago. made a stronger mount like above then it started to split the and crack the casing where it bolts on pmsl. bloody gearboxes.

Did you not just weld the spacer bracket etc on to the mount or have you just bolted it up?

Still bolted on welder is crap didn't want to warp anything also you would need to make sure they lined out 100%
