can anyone tell me how too remove the ignition barrel on a corsa sport ?? cheers

disconect the battery, remove steering column plastic trim upper and lower, insert the key turn it yo position 1, insert a small metal rod in the hole in the lock housing just below the wiper stalk, this will release the detent and the lock should pull striaght out. if its stif turn key to position 2 and pull lock out.

Like he said.

Don't take the bit off the back with all the wires going to it. You'll have springs and bits of plastic in your footwell.
