Anyone got one? Just test drove the 1.6 non turbo and thought it was a bit gutless not that I was expecting much but considering its the highest petrol model without going gtc bit disappointed. Looking at a 5 door Sri 1.6 with vx line kit in white £14k sound ok? Will be mrs car anyways I'm keeping the mk5

Hard to say without age and mileage etc. 1600 is reasonable enough engine but are a bit bland IMO . I'd opt for the td and dependant on the age you will find one well within that budget.

my dads got the gtc 1.6 turbo and it flies, used to have the 1.4 turbo which was still quick but nothing to get exited about.

The 1.6 was utter guff in the mk5 so if its the same engine it's not going to be any better

brand new baza she wants a car with a good warranty and right no VX are doing the 100k or 10 year warranty thats whats appealing to her. sadly turbo is a good bit more to buy and wouldnt get the model we want it all comes down to budget really
