- Do not buy a cheap import on
- You do not use them as much as you think you will.
- You can not leave in anywhere its not like a bike.
- Unless you get a superbike powered engine quad there not as fast as you think.
- Do not plan on going on the motorway

All depends on budjet - bombardier ds650, Raptor 660 700, Gas Gas 450.

I have a Gas Gas with an R6 superbike engine.

If you buy a quad for around £1000-1500 its going to be a cheap import one which will be slow (just about keep up with traffic) badly made and a total waste of money.
BUY A QUAD WHICH HAS A NAME BEHIND IT AND NOTHING BELOW A 450CC.
Cheap pound for pound Gas Gas Wild HP450 if you shop about pick one up for £1500-2000 and there out spec all the other makes out there by far, Ohlins shocks, brembo brakes, wide axles all as standard (reason why i used the frame to build a superbike quad).
In my workshop i have a DS650, Gas Gas, Raptor 700 and a Raptor 350 so its not a one sided veiw i have rode them all.

Banshee 350cc with a few mods, great quad if you get one that's well looked after. Very powerful quads!

Ride a quad on the road before you buy one...

Having riden a Raptor 750cc (IIRC) quad, vs my 600cc sports bike, I'd rather have my bike.

Didn't feel as safe as my bike, Thought it was bonkers that you're legally allowed to ride without a helmet, and wasn't as fast as I expected.
