I just tried to update my work computer to Windows 8. It ran through the install process fine then at the very end this flagged up:
Any ideas what's going on?

Ah. It seems to install fine then when it's complete, I get this page. Then I get a blue screen with "Windows install was unsuccessful. Restoring your previous version"

Not trying to install 64 bit on a 32 bit machine are you? I had something similar trying to install 64 bit on an old nc10

I wouldn't bother updating it Jay,keep to the older windows. Right ball ache to get used too.

That error message normally means you have faulty RAM, in my experience.
