Help me figure out the magic behind this drill.

It's a B&Q cheapo 'Performance Power' branded cordless.

Bought 4 years ago. lost the charger 3 years ago when we moved house. 3 Months ago found it in the loft, no charger obviously.

Was going to chuck it out but tried it and it still had power. so thought i'll chuck it when the battery goes flat.

It still hasn't. not been hammering it like my Hitachi drill, but use it with a 10mm drill in to de-swarf. Use it nearly every day, never gets charghed and it's still working.

I'm fucking mystified.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I too have witnessed the magic drill and I can confirm it is in fact magic.
