When Firefox starts using a lot of memory, lots of windows open, I'll sometimes get the next window which opens as just a black screen, can still see the title bar but nothing inside the browser window.

Closing other windows the refreshing that one sorts it.

Any clues?

Video cards are ATI FirePro, a 2450 and a 2270, running XP 64 and Firefox 16.
