Ive just bought a Corsa XE for the track, its already kitted out with most things but needs a fair bit TLC after the previous owner doesnt appear to have looked after it!
It has only ever been used for 1/4 miles by previous owners.

Its a 2000 1.4 Sport fitted with an XE and F20 gearbox.

Also has:

12 Point weld in Custom Cages Rollcage
Perspex Windows with sliders
Bucket seats/ harnesses
Mostly stripped out
Spax dampning adjustable coilovers
V6 Drilled/ grooved brakes
15" wheels with Toyo (proxes) tyres (spare set of wheels)
Morette headlights
Fibre glass bonnet (carbon effect!)

I only bought it late last night, and so far have only had time to put all black wheels on and wash it.

Obvious things it needs is front arch replaced, rear bumper trim replaced, bonnet replaced (this ones damaged), engine loom replaced (currently looks very DIY and not very reliable!) and id like some black bucket seats and a suede steering wheel.

If i like it, i think i may well put a Turbo motor in it for next years track days, but we'll see how i get on with it.

Ive built a few track cars before, and always end up building them far too good and ends up costing me a fortune. Going down the route of buying one mostly done im hoping to do it a bit cheaper, and enjoy it more then! :thumb:

Any comments, advice etc welcome!

How i bought it, poor thing

A simple change of 2 wheels and wash

Seen this for sale a couple days after I bought my one. Looks 100 times better with a good wash. Could the bonnet be repaired?
