Photobucket is shit. Its slow as fook and generally crap since they messed with it. I just want something really simple for storing and sharing my pictures online. I'd use my own server space if there was a photo gallery app to do that?
Ideas?

Dropbox.
Put photos in folder on your computer and they automatically upload and can be previewed as a gallery.

is fotki still going?, used to be alright, i just joined this thing called Corsasport premium services which gives you a place to store photos, or you can go into a private forum and discover people insulting you, don't get that on photobucket

I still use Fotki, thers a small annual charge i think but worth it, still has loads of features, iphone apps private albums etc...

Picasa is an option too, but sort of requires you to use the software as well.
This is the solution I personally use to share pictures with friends and family.
Though I know a lot of people find Picasa difficult to get in to, once you've learned the ins and outs it's a fantastic bit of software to organise your photos.
