I've got a c20xe in my corsa and I went and bought a 2.0 airbox from a vectra at the weekend, after looking at my car I quickly realised that its going to be a squeeze IF it fits in.. Was just wondering what boxes other people use? I've got a pipercross induction kit atm but there's no cold air really getting to it.

Think they are mate, dunno if diesel ones any diff though. It is a tight squeeze with an xe in there,i can never get it in with the top on and it has to go in on a funny angle, but it will go in!

There all the same mate, the 1.0 airbox has an additional part on the side but it can be removed with a screwdriver. Its a very tight fit as mentioned though, easiest way I got mine in was a massive bar and pushed the engine over or else the timing belt cover was going to get badly scratched!

Oh really? So I won't even bother trying to fit my 2.0 box in then lol! Will swap it for a corsa one and see how I get on. Just don't think the piper cone is doing it any good coz its sucking in all the heat from the engine.

The cone does seem to be fine when I've been driving then put my foot down, the only time it boggs down and lags is when I've been sat still and boot it, but I suppose u get that with any car anyway? Think ill just get a cold air feed

If you want an induction kit get a enclosed one, expensive buy worth it, coz they're enclosed they tend not to soak up the heat off the engine

I had this problem turned out the ecotec pipe wasn't on properly where it joins the inlet. I'd check the induction pipe. Mine runs fine with a cone now
