car failed on monoxide

done so far :

redex fuel additive
high octane fuel
new spark plugs


ideas:
clean lambda sensor
remove air filter from airbox? allowing more oxygen in getting a better burn recon it would work ?




trying to avoid changing my cat basicaly

Check or any induction or exhaust leaks. Removing air filter wont make a shit of difference unless it's clogged up BAD.

exhaust had leaks these are now sealed, that effects the lambda reading not the CO reading anyway

probably give it a clean actualy has been a long while

Exhaust can effect CO reading, trust me I've worked at an MOT testing garage for 4 years now!

A good thrash can do the world of good though.

theres no logic behind a leak causing a higher carbon monoxide reading,
escaping gas would lower it if anything
oxygen yes because air can come in effecting it,


cleaning out the filter was fucking filthy was good suggestion
