My old man has been trying to sell his C2 Vtr for a few weeks and just keep getting offered silly money. Its a 2007 1.6 model with 100k on it and he just keeps getting offered 1400-1500quid. He would rather keep it for himself than sell it that cheap . He has offered it to me for £1400quid but its not overly my cup of tea.... however I have seen them on here or somewhere with a 3.0 V6 fitted?
how hard is that to do? Is the engine from a peugeot I presume?

TBF he's lucky to be offered £1400-1500, that's around about what it's worth with 100k on it.

Couldn't think of a bigger waste of money.
C2s are only good because they handle well. Stick a 3.0 v6 in it and that will change.

With that mileage, I'd say £1,600 max.
Be lucky to even get that.

The 3.0 v6 C2 was built by Gary Stone aka Saxo Sport Tuning from back in the day, enough said really! not someone I would copy.

Fair enough, I thought 1500quid was dirt cheap for an 07 plate

TBH it probs wouldn't be a bad buy at £1400 since you know the history of it, etc. They're nice enough little motors. I wouldn't go trying any daft engine conversions personally mind.

I bet Jed regrets saying that sticking the V6 in a corsa is pretty easy

it is easy, apart from the rear manifold fabrication its just the same as the XE's... iv just got an electrical issue that we haven't sussed yet
also theres a citroen c2 around the N.E area with two V6's
