7 weeks ago paid £120 for my transit van to be fixed in a garage, had diagnostic done, fault found which was temp sensor, they repaired it and it worked perfect, now it's got the same fault, driving sluggish using more diesel and light on the dash again. Just curious as to where I stand will I have to pay again its going back in on Wednesday don't want to go in blind.

If its a reputable garage you should get a 12 month guarantee on parts and labour.

But it may not be the temp sensor. May be it is something causing the temp sensor to throw up the fault?

I take it you have had a diagnostic machine confirm that it's the same fault (temp sensor)???
If you've not, then the EML being on could be another problem altogether.

i work in a garage on the front desk so dont go in all guns blazing or your get no where!
Go in and tell them about the fault and give them chance to see what it is.
Probably something else if its 7 weeks later to be honest.

It's not the EML its the glow plug light flashing, what I meant was its exactly the same symptoms it went in for 7 weeks ago, no problems with paying again or if its something totally different just wasn't sure if I was covered for work that's already been done, don't really want to pay out every few weeks and it still breaks, I want the problem found and fixed I rely on it daily, I'm having to take time off work again.

No I rang them today and explained the problem, they said bring it in Wednesday, just wanted to know where I stood really.
