As above really. I have 2 TBs for my XE and i noticed that one has a thick wedge on one half of the butterfly and the other doesnt. I wondered why it was there and which would be best to use? Pictures:

I think one is from the Ecotec engine!
But the one in the bottom picture im sure people remove half the butterfly to let more air in.

i might be wrong lol

Top one is from a later Coilpack XE Will have a different TPS Sensor to the bottom one. Bottom one is a early Type, the wedge is for smooth driving at light throttle. Coilpack engines dont need it as the timing ect is more advanced and can be controlled better.
