So just been out and changed the bulbs in my Corsa C and happened to nootice the coolant tank is bone dry not a hint of water in there. It hasn't showed signs of over heating or getting to hot ect so I'm going to fill it back up does the engine need to be cold or hot when I do this
And is it going to go BANG on me this close to crimbo

Do it cold, try to note how much coolant it takes to bring it up to level, can sometimes be useful to know

Also check your oil level to make sure it hasn't emptied itself there.

don't just fill up the header tank, you'll need to bleed it to get all the trapped air out the engine.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
