recieved my F50 BB bonnet yesterday, which i thought looked alright! took it to a bodyshop, which did my kit! went to c them abt what they thought of the bonnet, they said, that they thought the quality of the bonnet was awful, and they wouldnt even put it on there shed (sarcastically)!! they pointed out the surface was rough, edges were not stright (which they had a point).

they r going to put it onto the car on tues to c if it fits! they said there is a lot of wk to be done, which UV said it wouldnt!! NOW i have to pay £200 to prep, prim and paint it

i bought it from UV, and i was wondering has any1 purchased this item and had the same problem????

nah. when they make them they cut thru the middle strengthening bar so it all goes wobbly. I had to weld new bars, then fibreglassed over it to sort it out.

There were loads of bubbles that we had 2 get rid of, and we had to tidy up the bad boy extensions cos they were all feked.

But if u look in ma garage, it turned out lurrrvley

this sound about right
most kits now a days are like this as the makers are not bothered about the quilty just about the money

how u think i went on with 4 wings 2 sides and 2 bumpers which ALL needed re-shaping

Yep i got my bboy f50 bonnet from UV quality was shite it took the bodyshop 3 days to get it to line up right and get a good finish on it they had to skim the whole bonnet with a thin layer of filler. Flippin nightmare mate they said it would have been cheaper to bad boy and vent my original bonnet!

The blokes at UV are a bit funny - think they know it all.

I used to pop in quite a bit coz its only down the road from me.

Hes a know-it-all.
