I thought the r32 would feel gutless to drive after a mapped diesel but it pulls all through the rev range and fairly gets up to 3 figures and keeps pulling
Felt wierd the amount of pull it still had up the rev range in 6th as your climbing into high figures

My boss used to have a Mk5 Gti with a Forge twin intake thing and a Star Performance remap. They dyno'd it at 249bhp.

The only thing i didn't like about it was it never felt like a fast car. The power delivery is smooth, and dosn't feel like a turbo car. It didn't give the turbo "kick" as such when it came on boost. It was very quick though. You could tell just by watching how quick the speedo would climb, and how quick it would reel in the cars in front.

I think Graham on here also said the same about his mates ED30 running close to 400bhp.

I'm talking from experience I owned one an had it for a few months! It was mint low mileage but was so let down with the performance

My mates 106 gti had me till 125mph, subaru Wrexham standard whipped me an the last straw was a race with my mates standard mk5 gti dsg which again had me all way to 130.

Mine was a hell of a lot quicker than my old 106 gti anyways lol.

If you get one have a look for a pre march 06 car as its in the lower tax bracket (£260 a year)

I'd put up with it if I was making a £2k+ saving lol. The seats are nice in the K1 tho.
