On my xe if got a pipercross pk which is like a sponge come filter. And I was just wondering if this is a good one for the xe? Or weather there is a better one to use.

You do get marginal gains from running a cone filter. Air box can actually provide a restriction.

From personal experience, i found that the airbox removed a few flat spots that were noticeable with an open cone filter fitted.
Drove smoother also. That was with Sfi box fitted too.

Ok I'll try a corsa air box with a k&n then And see if I notice a difference

Ok cheers lads. I'll get a standard box next weekend and order a filter. All the corsa air boxes are the same arnt they?
