You can usually pay either cash or card (can't remember which) if you go in, but each force is different.
I had to get the gfs mum to write me a cheque as ive never had a cheque book before.

My Angling club has only just setup paypal for the first year this year, proper PITA sending a Cheque off every year previously.

I've never had a chequebook, had to get my Nana to do them for me
